SolarConnect helps homeowners in Pakistan get the best deal on a solar system by connecting them with verified solar-installation companies. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us (for example, via our WhatsApp ad) and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Your WhatsApp phone number and the name shown on your profile or that you provide.
• Details you share to get a quote: your city/area, approximate monthly electricity bill, property ownership, roof type/space, budget, and timeline.
• The messages you send us in the conversation.
• If you choose to send it, a copy/photo of your electricity bill and the details on it (such as the billed amount, units consumed, and reference number). Sending a bill is optional.

How we use your information

• To understand your requirements and connect you with suitable verified solar-installation companies.
• To respond to you and to improve our service.

How we share it

When a verified installation company takes up your enquiry, we share your contact details and the information you provided so they can contact you with a quote. We do not sell your personal data to unrelated third parties. We may use aggregated, non-identifying data to improve the service.

WhatsApp and Meta

Conversations take place over WhatsApp, and our ads run on Meta (Facebook/Instagram). Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and for reasonable business and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can stop messaging us at any time, and you can request access to or deletion of your information by emailing support@solarconnect.me.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our service is intended for adults arranging solar installations and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above will change accordingly.
